Powercast: Late last year, this RF-based far field wireless charging contender started selling its PowerSpot transmitter ($99), and at CES it demonstrated its Grips, a Nintendo Switch Joy-Con holder with an imbedded battery. Grips can supply up to 38 hours of game play, then can be recharged simply by placing it within a couple of feet of the PowerSpot transmitter. Grips will be available sometime this fall in single- or dual-packs, probably starting at around $150.
