IFA is the European version of the Consumer Electronics Show, held every August/September in Berlin. The show’s a lot more fun than CES – half the show is appliances with lots of cooking demos and free coffee, cappuccino, espresso and fresh-squeezed fruit juice, and it’s open to consumers, thankfully after a couple of press-only games.
